Technology for practice. A teacher for what matters.
Plenty of apps can drill vocabulary. None of them can tell you why your sentence sounds odd to a Greek ear. Here, technology gives you as much practice as you want, and a real teacher reads your writing, listens to you speak and signs off on your progress.
Every mistake explained
Exercises tell you why an answer is wrong, not just that it is.
A teacher checks your work
In programmes and 1:1 lessons, your writing and speaking are corrected personally, within 48 hours.
Made for adults abroad
For heritage learners, partners of Greeks and anyone who loves Greece. Your pace, your time zone.

Meet Athina

How do online lessons work?
On Google Meet. You get the link in your booking confirmation. For in-person lessons in Heraklion, the address comes with your confirmation.
Will this help me get the Certificate of Attainment in Greek?
The Certificate is earned only by passing the official exams. Athina can prepare you for them in 1:1 lessons or in small groups of up to three people. Our structured programmes use the same CEFR levels, but they do not include exam preparation.
How much does it cost?
Some mini-lessons are free and others are paid. Prices for 1:1 lessons, programmes and paid mini-lessons are listed clearly, with no hidden fees.
